Harvey Hurst

Head Coach

Harvey is the head coach of IPSFC, a post he has held since 2005. He grew up in Portland and became an avid soccer fan when the Timbers joined the NASL as an expansion club in 1975. The gift to see Pele play twice against the Timbers in Portland as a kid hooked him into the love of the game. Harvey also played for IPSFC from 1996-2001, has played and managed in the GPSD since 1993, and served as the head of the Portland State club soccer team from 2003-2005.

Foday Kabba

Assistant Coach | Player

Foday is an Assistant Coach and Player for IPSFC. Born in Sierra Leone, "Fo" played club soccer at FC Portland before moving on to the collegiate ranks at Gonzaga University. He holds his USSF D Coaching License and brings a wealth of experience to the club, having previously served as the Women's Head Coach at his alma mater. He is also the current Head Coach of the FC Portland 2003 and 2007 Boys' sides.

Jerry Fay

Director of Soccer

Jerry currently serves as the Director of Soccer at the organization, though his roots within IPSFC run deep. He played for team's predecessor as far back as 1989 upon arriving in Portland from England, and remained with the club in 1996 when it became International Portland Select and joined the newfound OPSL. Jerry eventually shifted into an assistant coaching role before moving into the position he currently holds today.

Peter Mahr

Manager: IPS 40+ Team

Peter Mahr is an assistant coach and team trainer for International Portland Select FC. Peter played for the club from 1999-2009 and has remained involved as an assistant since then. He also serves as the manager for the IPS over-40 team.

Scott Middleton

Assistant Coach | Trainer | Goallie Coach

Scott has played soccer his whole life having Play 3 years of ODP as a teenager graduating from Sunset High School and then playing collegiately for Oregon State then played amateur soccer in Portland for the next 25 years playing mainly for Kells and IPS now an assistant coach with IPS he also acts as a trainer and goalkeeper coach.

Perry Hammond

Director of Marketing and Business Development

Perry recently joined the organization to lead its marketing and business development efforts. He grew up playing soccer in the Bay Area before heading east to play collegiately at Wesleyan University. He lived in Madrid, Spain, for seven years, where he got his first taste of the soccer industry as a translator for Atletico Madrid. He holds an MBA from the University of Oregon with a focus on Sports Marketing and Management.
